Given/Assuming that the 8k home credit expires in November, will home prices fall in December? Or is the 8k credit not having any impact on home prices?

Home prices don't move very quickly when homeowners are solvent, as they seem to be in the nicer areas around here so I say no. Also, $8k is insignificant.

No impact here in most of the Boston area. In other parts of the country, $8k as a number per se is more significant.
