Unproven hypothesis

There aren't many people in the world qualified to make that statement and I don't think you're one of them. Sadly, the rest of us are left to trusting those who are.

No, they're intended. And yes they suck.

That's one fraction saved. That's like saying you should speed because everyone is speeding. You're all breaking the law if you speed.

We're still about 30-50 years from that point. For the most part, there's plenty of money in this country for necessities. We just let housing suck it all up for most of the population.

I flame myself when I know I've said stupid stuff (not to say what you wrote was stupid). I cringe when I read my stuff sometimes. Sometimes I do the Howard Stern thing and play patriotic music in the background in my mind and laugh at myself. Like Elvis used to say, the only thing worse than watching a bad movie is being in one. I get one on the button occasionally.

I'm noticing that the asking price for houses at my price point are ticking up a bit. The "zillow" zestimate for my house has shown this as well. I'm guessing that this reflects the significant drop in mortgage rates in the early spring which may have created these statistics. I realize that since then, rates have gone up about .6 points or so and sum up all this recent chatter on this blog and you can see that we're all weighing the course of action and projecting the potential impact. I realize that I don't have all the information to make the perfect call, and that noone else seems to have it either, but when governments make these big rolls of dice and just throw out the Hail Mary, it's like why bother have a measured plan because the whole deck is going to be shuffled anyway. I think these wild moves to correct the recklessness is just creating is in of itself reckless.

Here I go again, having luch with the brother at Wagawaga. He's such a pussy, I have to give him some shit for choosing that place.

Wagamamma was awesome, but I'm sure it will prove to be a real ring burner.
