They forgot to point the finger at realtors and their corrupt state and national associations. These associations spend millions in 'donations' to politicians and lobbyists to ensure that their interests are served above that of honest, hard-working Americans.
Realtors encouraged home-buying at all costs, helped to inflate prices far beyond the affordability of buyers and extracted fat commissions as a reward for their fraud.
I find it curious that CNN didn't mention the contribution of realtors to this bubble. |

They should have given more than three fingers to the borrowers. "We" are the ones that fell for this bubble, overstretched and bought these over priced homes. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that they didn't give more than three fingers since we live in a country where people do not want to take responsibility for their own actions. It's always someone else's fault. Who can I sue? |
