Saw an absolute disaster of a house in Arlington yesterday. Listed above $600K. Stank like smoke and probably needed a gut job to get the stench out. Absolutely filthy, with old systems, an old roof, old siding, and lots of street noise. No updates whatsoever. This market is distorted beyond belief. |

Lots of over priced assets in our economy at the moment.
Of course knowing when thinks will revert is impossible.
Tesla is worth $25 Billion - and sells 30k cars a year.
So, why not ask $600K for a crappy house in Arlington - the seller only needs one sheep to make a killing. |

I think I see the one you are talking about on Redfin. It is UGLY! I was very caught up in this insane market last year and thought I HAD to buy - but I'm sooooo over it now. I agree, it only takes one person to buy, but that chump won't be me! |

Are there comps to justify the asking price? If not, will a bank appraise
it for a mortgage to be approved? |
