I know this is a great site to find info but can someone answer about the following with regards to renting
We called around to find out rents from places like Park lane seaport and Equity Residential Asked for a 2B 2B, first we found listings on the web for 2300.00 then we called and got quoted 2800.00. I ask how can there be such a discrepancy. The leasing agents claimed it was based on a daily fluctuation in market pressures WTF??? I ask what is the math calculation to realize this. They could not come up with it or they said it is company privileged information WTF again??
Does anyone have a clue as to what they are BS everyone with What is the calculation?? OR is it really their commission included??
AND where are the jobs that pay enough in Boston to cover this and all living exp?

Sounds like a "bait & switch", just like car deals ads. List a low cost car to get alot of attention, only to find out its a base model in one color no one wants. But they have plenty of models you want but 10% more.

If you want the true cost for these units, you will need to check out a site like
http://www.apartmentratings.com/rate/MA.html
fyi- the Park Lane Seaport has 2BR/2BA units averaging $2688/month.

Go on offense, research what you think the market bears and tell them what you're willing to pay.
