NAR Chief Economist Named Among Top Forecasters for Accuracy
WASHINGTON, March 17, 2008 - The National Association of Realtors® Chief Economist Lawrence Yun has been named among the top 10 economic forecasters by USA Today. Yun is ranked fifth on the list and is responsible for NAR’s real estate statistics and economic forecasting. The annual list recognizes accuracy in forecasting.

This was also in the "News" section of this website.

You wonder what basis they used to determine this. I really wonder how people keep score, how people get promoted etc. He has such a terrible track record; it simply doesn't graduate to a professional level. It is amateur hour, and this News Publication did an amateur job of reporting. I am disgusted.

I think this says more about the reputation of USA Today than it does about Mr. Yun.

I think Mr. Yun did accuractly express what NAR what him to express. The poor guy will not have a job if he was not willing to say what NAR want him to say. I would have done the same thing if I am on his seat. His perdictions are harmless to others as long as you don't do what he said.
Go Yun! You give hope to all the greedy basters who are unwilling to accept the fact their investment properties are worth half what they pay out.
