An article from USA Today says that new home prices declined 5.7% in September alone. In New York City, average home prices declined 12.7% in the 3rd quarter. Nationally, the median home price has declined 9% from $232,000 earlier in the year to $212,000 in September.
Homes are staying on the market 3-5 times longer in most larger markets. This article can be found at: HomePriceDecline
It appears the crash has begun.
