The first one only has 1.5 baths. What's up with that? There are lots of more affordable towns than Arlington. |

Every asset class is crazy these days: houses, stocks, gold, bitcoin, oil, etc. They will all fall when the next recession comes. Get ready for the day of reckoning. |

Believe me, I'd love to see that as much as anyone. It just seems like nothing will stop the acceleration in asset prices. This should never have happened and wouldn't have without the intervention. However, how is it possible assets continue to inflate in spite of the reversal of easy money and rates. Any opinions on when that day of reckoning shall come? |

That’s because easy money and rates aren’t inflating this leg of the bubble. It’s the retail investors who got jobs and are buying all these assets. The bubble will pop when people lose their jobs. |

I'm not sure I completely agree with this, but whatever it is, I hope it pops soon. |

Worry what you wish for, if it pops because of jobs then be sure to be holding a rock steady job in a high demand field |

Photos of the attic and basement both look decent. I don't see why they should be excluded from the SF. I have a finished basement and a finished attic, both with baths and high ceilings, that space gets used a lot.
Would I buy this house for $1.8M? No way, the location doesn't work for me. I want to be walkable to conveniences. But other buyers will want waterfront and a short commute to Boston. This fits the bill. The house will sell at $1.5M or above, in my estimation. The flipper walks away with a six-figure profit for his troubles. |

I must say, the renovation is 'millennial pleasing', devoid of any character or charm. A "home depot special", however this is what today's buyers want.. one big room. Will be interesting to see the final price |
