For those who has no money in MA, they won't feel the pinch of their existing saving being eaten up by actual inflation. The truely screwed group these days is the deligent saver for the past few years who play by the rules.  |

Yes, the options for savers have been meager for awhile. However, I would take in a heartbeat the "pinch" of slow erosion from inflation over having my world upended in an instant by a job loss or medical emergency. The downsides to lacking savings touched on by the article seem much worse than losing some money to inflation.
