Discussion with Robert Shiller and others. Has some interesting points of view but not much new. Susan Watcher is the representative bull but she seemed to soften her position as the program progressed.

As with all the NPR stuff I'm never sure how long the link will last.

I thought this was a great discussion. I put it on my wife's iPod. Hopefully she listens to it Smile They summarized a ton of data.

I agree that Susan softened her position. She started out by implying that everything looks rosy, but it eventually came out that only thinks there's a good chance that things don't get substantially worse. She doesn't foresee a return to price increases any time soon.

So the bear position was that there's little chance of price increases and lots of downside risk, and the bull position was that there's little chance of price increases and moderate downside risk.

I enjoyed the call at the end from the guy who was closing on a house and was hoping the experts could tell him how much to offer and how much the price would rise or fall in the future.

Yes, that one was pretty funny.

Asking if his specific deal is a good one or not.
