There was a law passed a year or so ago that was intended to prevent students from living in Boston. Judging from just the name (I wouldn't have remembered what the actual restrictions were otherwise), the restriction probably prevented more than 4 people from living at the same address without a dorm license. I would assume there were exceptions for relatives. The law struck me as pretty discriminatory at the time, and still does.
