Wall Street bonuses poised to rebound
What do you all think about this? It seems to be that these companies are playing by the rules and as such deserve to pay out whatever they like. It also seems to me that if the rules allow such inefficiency to exist, then we should change the rules. I suggest that we start a price war on Wall Street. For a long time 2% has been "the fee" for IPO, as has 20%/2% for hedge funds. I don't know the best way to do that. Sherman Act maybe? Break up the monopolies. Something like that. Why has no one considered this option? It seems to have happened in every other market, hence the reason most scientists and engineers make next to nothing in comparison (even though our contribution to society is much larger). |
