I found one of the article's commenters' nicknames for Frank rather clever: Barney "Madoff" Frank. He is helping prop up another Ponzi scheme.

OK, I generally avoid political discussions but can't help this question. Why do you guys vote for Barney? I just moved to MA and I'm fairly liberal (won't say "as they come" cause I'm not quite there)...but I have to yet hear something non-brain dead come out of his mouth.

Seriously, I would like for someone who lives in his district to explain to me his appeal

thanks.

John, I watched the segments you suggested and it only deepens my amazement at people voting for this guy. I offer no opinion on McCain and I know nothing of the Barney alternative but to me he sounds almost like the Dem equivalent of GWB (IQ-wise?!). Is there any area that this guy is really smart/good in (please don't say econ though) -- I'm trying to find a positive side

I like him because he's fighting for the gays. I think that gay rights are our generations layer on the unfinished pyramid that we have to build.
