FINALLY! Nothing made me more mad and frustrated when we purchased our first house in 2003 than when the bank and the agent kept calling and telling us that there were MORE closing costs. Absolutely ridiculous that buying a house is such a RACKET!! And the politicians wonder what went wrong with the country/economy/banks/people.
Anyways, the article states that there was a ruling against real estate agents for charging misc. fees above the stated commission.
