Well, here it is... this is my solution to the economic crisis. There's no problem with the govt supporting hundreds of millions to live in RVs across the nation. And the govt's job is to mainly provide security from vandals and hooligans.
What this does is create an authentic bottom where even part-time, seasonal workers could make enough money to survive w/o continous employment. Then, we can work on bringing back core manufacturing and we'll have the emergence of a new middle class. |
