This is becoming quite the trend. Seen this firsthand with a few foreclosed properties.
One in Milton looked promising on the outside but when I walked inside, I was shocked. This was a early 1900's property so it had copper pipes throughout. All the walls had huge gashes were the copper ran. The kitchen was stripped clean. They even cut a hole in the oil tank to tap the remaining oil in there.
This was priced at $300k and is still on the market.
Second property in Quincy, had all the hardwood flooring ripped out. The crown molding in all the rooms taken. Holes in the walls going through rooms. Just a mess...it was priced at $100k and sold recently for $75k. |
