#Covid_ImpactRE: Agree w/ Boston Fed's chief? "Both homes & apartments as well as office properties likely to see softening of prices in some markets, may be fairly significant softening over time"

May see less demand for office space b/c remote working is viable

"Rosengren, who in recent years has warned that historically low Fed interest rates encouraged unhealthy levels of borrowing, also said that overhang of debt could worsen the recession to come and slow the recovery from it."

Historically low Fed interest rates also "encouraged" historically high home prices. Have home prices ever doubled in an 8-10 year span like they have in this area since 2008? I don't know the answer. Is this unprecedented or has it happened before?
