Admin: I can't seem to find this thread:

FHA allows loans for the $8000 home buyer tax credit

Did you or someone else delete it or move it?

Thanks

It's under News
http://bostonbubble.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2017&highlight=credit

BTW, if your point on housing price inflation was related to the ability to use the 8K as a downpayment (i.e. potentially put 0 down) looks like that's not really possible...or at least varies by state

Thanks! I swear I looked there!

However, many of the posts are missing.

Brian C. explained how he could get the $8K before tax time, and that is no longer on that thread.

Also, I got a notification about a post to that thread today, but there isn't one.

Hmmm.

That was probably for a spam comment that somebody posted and I deleted. Unfortunately, I can't undo the email alerts once they're sent, so if somebody spams the thread it can result in what you experienced where you got an alert about a new message but the new message was deleted by the time you got there.

I don't believe that I have deleted anything other than spam and duplicate posts. A lot of the threads on here have overlapping topics of discussion, so it may just be that the posts you are remembering are from different threads. If you can't find them with the forum search function, you can also search the site using Google by adding "site:www.bostonbubble.com" to your query.

Thanks admin... I jumped threads and forgot I did that! I suppose it is proof that it's all down hill after 35yrs ... at least for me Wink .

I didn't realize that the threads get spammed, so you must be doing a good job of deleting when it happens.

Thanks again!

Guys since I signed last week, I have already sent out my request for the $8k credit. If you have followed my build thread, this will cover my cabinets and countertops!

Will provide more info later on the process.
